Design Requirements

The home is a 1910 Arts & Crafts “Shingle House” and the owners want to maintain the historic “fabric” in style, finishes and space planning during the remodel.

• Warming drawer

•Auxiliary sink

•Second dishwasher

•Extra storage

•Temperature controlled wine cellar that can hold 60 to 100 bottles of wine

•Laundry area in the kitchen behind closed doors

•Seating for 6-8 people

•Homework station

•Access to backyard from kitchen

• Towel storage and adequate space to change.

•For remodel to keep as close to an authentic bathroom of the 1910 Arts & Crafts house as possible.

• To warm up the room with color, stained woodwork, period lighting, and candlelight.
